IT operations technicians supervise and maintain servers and data centre systems in purely technological environments. AI and AIOps already automate hardware fault detection, software deployment, and load balancing autonomously. Being a natively digital environment, most routine supervision is now algorithmic, leaving the technician with crisis management and the physical maintenance of hardware.
