Automation vector
Aviation pilots operate aircraft through highly advanced digital fly-by-wire systems and autopilots. AI already manages cruise navigation and optimises fuel consumption, and could theoretically land autonomously under standard conditions. The management of critical system failures, judgement in extreme and unpredictable weather, and passenger confidence ensure the human presence in the cockpit.

La IA ya gestiona la navegación de crucero y optimiza el consumo de combustible, pudiendo teóricamente aterrizar de forma autónoma en condiciones estándar. La gestión de fallos críticos del sistema, el juicio ante meteorología extrema e imprevisible y la confianza de los pasajeros aseguran la presencia humana en cabina.
